Embroidery can be used in many ways, on many fabrics, and using a variety of colors and textures and to promote, show off or simply adorn just about anything. Laprobes and quilts are some ways to decorate one room, or an entire home, along with wall hangings, pilows, upholstery, and widow treatments along many other forms of home furnishings.
Banners, flags and table covers help promote your business by first and foremost putting forth a professional and upscale image when trying to grab the public eye, as well as canopies and drapes, all of which call customers to your booth or business by putting you out in front when it comes to presentation: the biggest, brightest, highest up and best seen are those who garner the most attention from the public.
Personalization of garments is fast becoming an accepted and very strong way of advertising; hard copy advertising, such as business cards, flyers pamphlets, and other paper products are good, and serve a very important purpose in today's market, however, those items can easily become lost, destroyed or used for something other than their intended purpose, (how many times have you needed something to write on, and the first thing available, such as someone's business card is the thing you grab AND TURN OVER, NEVER using the card for its' original purpose?). Garments do not usually meet such a fate. Whether you use them as a mode of advertising, such as give-a-way items, or you change uniforms, outgrow a garment, or just plain want something new, once that garment is out there, regardless of who is wearing it, your name is out there, and the person wearing it is advertising for you--instant billboard.
Feel free to take a tour of our Project Gallery and enjoy some of our past work. Although these items have been specially created, sold, donated or are personal items and not for sale, if you see something you might be interested in, we'd be more than happy to help you with whatever type of item or design you're looking for!

Project Descriptions: (Going clockwise from top left)
Saddle Pads:
This is an academy pad, made of a single layer of quilted pad material, with the embroidery placed to the lower rear corner on both sides, well away from the fenders and leathers of either a huntseat or dressage style saddle.
Club Banners and Flags:
These are a one or two sided, approximately 3' X 5' standard flag, constructed out of fade resistant nylon, and made to represent your club or organization. Depending on the size and design, these can be done entirely of embroidery, or can, as the flag here shows, be done using applique to reduce both weight and stitch count. Each flag is individually made to your specifications, using your color scheme and design, and can be altered in size or orientation according to your needs.
Leather Jackets and Coats:
Although each coat, jacket or other leather garment is constructed differently, and will therefore need to be considered on a per item basis, the opportunities can be limitless when it comes to this medium. We carry few leather/leather trimmed items, however we are more than happy to see what you have and let you know if the design you have in mind and the garment are a good fit. Embroidery can give an old weathered and worn item an entirely new lease on life, taking it from old and tired to shabby chic and one of a kind!
On this jacket, a duel thread application was used, combining a high scheen beige poly and gold metallic; instead of laying down the complete design twice, once with the high scheen and then again with the gold, both threads are done at thesame time using a large eye needle, which allows the threads to flow and twist together as they stitch out. It's an interesting way to "dress" up this favorite and give it a whole new "look".

Hummingbird Laprobe:
Have a favorite bird or animal? Make it a lasting and useful item that you can use and enjoy on a daily basis! This hummingbird creation is a compilation of 19 panels, featuring hummingbird species indigenous from the Midwest. Done in pastels, it's a light and springy piece, sure to lighten up any room!
Duck Hunters Laprobe:
Custom done with the ducks from Iowa. It is an over-sized laprobe, measuring approximately 60" X 72", rather than the standard laprobe size of 45" X 65" usually used. Although the standard bedding sizes are used for most of these items, any of them can be custom sized to whatever works best for you. Don't hesitate to give us the dementions you need, and we'll get the perfect sized piece for your needs!
Baby Quilts:
Boy, girl, one of each, or not sure? The sky is the limit on what you can do with these cute memory makers! Constructed of color and print appropriate blocks, and baby perfect designs, these are constructed with baby's comfort and safety in mind, and as with every other laprobe or quilt, these are hand-finished, and ready for use right out of the box. Want to really personalize it? Send us any information you'd like, parent's names, baby's name, date of birth, birth weight, etc., and we'll create a block that includes this info, making it truly a one of a kind and personal gift from the heart!
Iowa Game Bird Quilt:

This Queen/King quilt, featuring some of the game birds found in Iowa was one of our first projects of this size and nature. Turkeys, Pheasants , Mallard Ducks, Wood Ducks and Canadian Geese grace the front of this 30 block creation, which uses navy blue, hunter green and a deep maroon for the backgrounds and framing. It is quilted using a regular method called ditch stitching.
Having had many people ask us what the designs looked like when stitched, so that they could get an idea of the finished effect in relation to size and quality, it became necessary to come up with some way to present the designs in a finished manner. Rather than fill up notebooks and sleeves with bulky material blocks, some of which wouldn't fit well anyway, we came up with the idea to incorporate the stitched designs into useful items; the result was that we create themed laprobes and quilts.
Utilizing the designs in this manner has allowed us to show many of our designs, from many different design houses and themes in their final result, and has given our clients the opportunity to see a "finished" design, so that they can decide how they would like to use a particular design for their own purpose.
This particular piece has been utilized in a variety of ways, from being used by us to showcase these beautiful designs to being shown nationwide by one of our suppliers to showcase their product and it's uses and versitility. Being one of the first projects of this nature, and also my husband's favorite, this particular quilt is not for sale. However, if it is something you might be interested in, don't hesitate to contact us, and we'll do our best to create something equally as stunning and just as one of a kind!

Customer Provided Project Pieces:
This coat is one that we did both the original work on, and then it was brought back to us for additional embellishment. The center photo shows the original work done for the National Halter Championship. The horse, and the lettering inside of "halter" are done in a brown ployneoe thread, with the outside being framed in gold metallic. The gold world is an applique of gold material, with the detail done in the gold metalic as well.
The view on the left shows the right chest, which has the customer logo on it and one of their Champion Quarter Horse stallions going down the sleeve. The logo is done in all metallic gold thread, and "I'm Employed" is done with both a true red stutter effect under a gold metallic overlay. The view on the right is the jacket as seen from that side, showing the "Gold Sponsor" in metallic gold on the left chest, and "Acoolest", another of their stallions going down the left sleeve.
